Clinical Research Orientation

The College of Medicine Office of Research will be hosting Clinical Research Orientations for those entering the field or new of the institution. The orientation is structured into themed content, packaged in concentrated 2-3 hour modules:

Module 1: Foundations of Clinical Research

Module 2: Informed Consent

Module 3: Documentation

Module 4: Budgets and Contracts

Module 5: GCP in Industry and IIT trials

Module 6: Protocol Development and Implementation

All modules are open to OSU employees involved in clinical research. COMOR recommends the following module schedule based on the specific job title:

Clinical Research Coordinator: 1-6

Clinical Research Assistant: 1, 2, 3, 5

Regulatory Compliance Officer: 1, 2, 5, 6

Fiscal Officer: 1, 2, 3, 4
