Recruitment and Retention

Recruitment and Retention can help design those first touch points with the community and share best practices to help researchers achieve their recruitment/retention goals. Requesting a consultation with Recruitment and Retention Services early in the design of a research study can help to reduce the burden of study participant recruitment, which can often be more challenging than expected.

StudySearch

StudySearch is an online tool which serves as a central repository of OSU research studies that are seeking volunteers. Researchers with an IRB-approved study that is currently seeking volunteers can complete an intake form and forward it to Blair.Gonsenhauser@osumc.edu and have the study listed.

ResearchMatch

Research Match is a free and secure volunteer registry that has been developed by major academic institutions across the country. Researchers at OSU can use this at no cost to find potential participants for their studies.

Research Study Participant Satisfaction Survey

The Research Study Participant Satisfaction survey, developed by OSU study coordinators and CCTS staff, is available to the OSU research community. The survey helps researchers assess and improve the research experience of participants for a single study, studies conducted within a Division or Department, or potentially across the entire research enterprise.
