Pharmacoanalytical Shared Resource

Pharmacoanalytical shared resource supports pre-clinical and clinical drug development

The Pharmacoanalytical Shared Resource (PhASR) is a decentralized facility in the College of Pharmacy that supports pre-clinical and clinical drug development by providing high quality, cost-effective and reliable bioanalytical method development, quantitative sample analysis, and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic/pharmacogenetic experimental design and data analysis.

Two LC/MS systems are available for quantification of analytes and identification of metabolites in biological matrices and are used primarily for quantification of parent drug and metabolites in clinical specimens.
