Genomics Shared Resource

The Genomics Shared Resource (GSR) provides instrumentation and expertise for DNA sequencing, genotyping, real-time PCR, RNA/DNA extraction, imaging and DNA synthesis support, mRNA transcriptional profiling, microRNA/noncoding small RNA transcriptional profiling, single nucleotide polymorphism genotyping, genomic DNA gain/loss detection on BAC CGH Array, microRNA genomic gain/ loss on oligo CGH Array, consultation, RNA characterization and microarray processing and data analysis.

GSR also consults and assists in experimental design, supports the development of novel methodologies and applications relevant to cancer research and functions as a training and education center.
