Clinical Treatment Unit/ Clinical Trials Processing Lab for Cancer Research

Clinical Treatment Unit/ Clinical Trials Processing Lab helps investigators conduct phase I and II research

The Clinical Treatment Unit/Clinical Trials Processing Lab (CTU/CTPL) for Cancer Research enables investigators to conduct successful phase I and phase II clinical translational research in a methodologically sound, expedient and cost-effective manner.

The CTU, an ambulatory phase I unit in The James, specializes in treating early clinical trial patients who require intense monitoring or complex correlative sample collection and processing.

The CTPL enhances research quality by providing dedicated staff for high-volume procurement, processing, storage, delivery and shipment of research specimens critical to the correlative studies component of OSUCCC clinical trials.
