Mindfulness for Presence and Purpose

The Ohio State University College of Medicine Faculty are invited to join Sophie Lazarus, PhD for a one and half hour experiential course on mindfulness. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of mindfulness practices and tools to support their physical and mental wellness. Further exploration in small groups will focus on how these tools can be applied within their personal and professional lives.

Dr. Lazarus specializes in mindfulness-based interventions and directs the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy Program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She has an active line of research and numerous publications in this area. This event is sponsored by Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) and will be held in person at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
