Good mentoring is crucial to graduate student success. If difficulties are experienced in the mentoring relationship, mentees often do not know who to turn to, or even if they can risk turning to someone for help.

At this in-person program, a panel of experienced faculty research mentors will address challenges faced by mentees in their mentoring relationships-including examples submitted by Ohio State mentees. The panel will discuss best practice advice for resolving these issues.

The Center for Clinical and Translational Science presents Mentoring Better: a series of interactive seminars and skill building activities for faculty mentoring trainees on T32 grants designed to help mentors and trainees enhance their mentoring skills and experience the mentor/mentee benefits of better mentoring.
