This Grand Rounds talk will be presented by Daisy Diaz-Rohena, a PhD student at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center Houston M D Anderson Cancer Center whose research interests include chronic lymphocytic leukemia, overcoming resistance, mutant p53 and BCL-2 family proteins.

Ms. Diaz-Rohena is a TL1 Scholar, funded by a mentored career development grant from the National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS) and is affiliated with the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences at UT Heath Science Center at Houston. She comes to Ohio State as part of the H. William Schnaper Visiting Scientist Program supported by NCATS.

Ms. Diaz-Rohena's virtual visit to the campus is supported by the Ohio State University Center for Clinical and Translational Science, collaboration among the university, Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital that is dedicated to turning the scientific discoveries of today into life-changing disease prevention strategies and the health diagnostics and treatments of tomorrow.
