The Office of Knowledge Enterprise's BIIG Collaborations is a series of activities designed to provide faculty with the resources and support needed to establish and cultivate collaborations across disciplines, and explore innovative research questions. The program kicks off with two events to begin to forge collaborative interdisciplinary teams seeking to innovate around a common research theme. BIIG Connections @ The STEAM Factory includes biotechnology-focused session on October 11 from 3 - 5 p.m. and a STEM education/workforce development session on October 12 from 3 - 5 p.m. Teams can also apply for an Interdisciplinary Innovation Team Development Award that provides up to $5,000 to further define and refine budding interdisciplinary collaborations that are poised to tackle complex problems.

Faculty (all ranks, all tracks), research staff, and post-docs are invited to:
•    Submit a one-slide lightning introduction to your research
•    Participate in focused (and fun!) engagement activities to expand your network and find collaborators
•    Learn about upcoming internal funding opportunities that will help you develop effective interdisciplinary teams

When: October 11 and 12, 2022 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
