Seminars & Lectures

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
@ Online

As researchers, physicians and faculty members, we are charged with leading the way, which can be daunting at times. Do you have teams of people you can turn to for support? Do you maintain high levels of energy throughout the week? Do you have a coach? Do you have the right tools in your toolkit to succeed in your role? This session, led by Carol R. Bradford, MD, MS, FACS, dean of The Ohio State University College of Medicine and vice president for Health Sciences at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, will provide you with pearls of wisdom to navigate your professional role.

She'll remind you of the power of building strong relationships both inside and outside of work, finding - and serving as - mentors and coaches, and practicing regular self-care. And she'll guide you to tools and resources you need to succeed and thrive in your role. Attendees will be able to describe the difference between a mentor and a coach; explain the value of serving as a well-being role model; and have resources to pave your path to success.

When: November 3, 3-4pm

Where: Online
