Medical student mistreatment remains an unfortunate and avoidable element of the clinical learning environment at OSU. Ranging from the detrimental effects on individual students to the implications for accreditation of the College of Medicine as a whole, the issue of mistreatment warrants the attention of all faculty members.
At this session, we will explore medical student mistreatment - what it is, what it is not, what perpetuates the "cycle" - and will discuss the importance of a team-based approach to mitigating it.
