Join Fast Forward Medical Innovation, in partnership with the U.S. Economic Development Administration, for a virtual event where a panel of experts from the life science investment community will provide insight on trends within the industry and reveal investment criteria considered when evaluating emerging technologies. The panel discussion will cover the strategy, timing, and best method for innovators to engage investors, the specifics of what investors are looking for in technologies and project teams, and expectations of investors and project teams after the investment is secured. Other topics will include the appropriate phase of technology development for connecting with investors, investment criteria for evaluating life science technologies, investor expectations and involvement post-investment.
Following the panel discussion, a virtual poster session from 1 to 2 p.m. will provide project teams from the FFMI Hub at the University of Michigan an opportunity for constructive feedback and coaching on their business case through open discussion with investment professionals and attendees.
