Engagement Scholarship Consortium Grant

The Ohio State CCTS was awarded the Engaged Scholarship Consortium grant to aid in the development of our Academy of Community Reviewers.

Out of 18 winners, Ohio State has two awardees, one of which being our Pilot and Collaborative Studies Coordinator, Jasmine Neal, MPH.

The grant was provided by the Engaged Scholarship Consortium (ESC). The ESC grant program is dedicated to increasing scholarship that is mutually beneficial for the university scholar and for the community and fosters bi-directional alliances and learning between faculty at member universities and the community.

The Academy of Community Reviewers (ACR) was awarded $3,800 to honor the participation of community members and alumni of the program, in the development of the new online course that trains that empowers patients and community members to engage in academic research as grant reviewers and community advisors.

We are excited for the upcoming ACR and are thrilled about this award being granted to our CCTS.
