Meet Rachel Bergman!

Q: What is your role at CCTS?

A: I am a Graduate Research Associate (GRA) at the CCTS.

Q: How do you think the CCTS is impacting medicine?

A: The CCTS serves an integral role in supporting innovative and passionate researchers with each aspect of the multifaceted research process. This work allows more patients and populations to benefit from advancements in medicine.

A: That we exist! I think there are so many researchers and research staff at OSU that are not even aware of the services and support that the CCTS offers.

Q: What is your favorite thing about the CCTS?

A: The fun, knowledgeable, and caring people I work with.

Q: What do you do in your pass-time?

A: I like to watch movies and TV shows, garden, and bike around Columbus.

Q: What was your dream job when you were a kid?

A: When I was a kid, I wanted to be a singer, even though I have no singing or musical talent.

Q: What's your typical day like?

A: It varies based on my class and clinical schedule.

Q: If you could have a meal with 3 famous people (dead or alive), who would they be and why?

A: When I graduated from Oberlin College.

Q: Favorite band/song?

A: I think Neil Young’s Harvest Moon is a perfect song.
