2022 Woman of the Year by the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Employee Resource Group

Congratulations to CCTS staff member, Dr. Tanya Mathew, for being recognized as the 2022 Woman of the Year by the 

Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Employee Resource Group.  In celebration of Women’s History Month in March, the Women of Color Employee Resource Group  hosted “Women Breaking Barriers in Health Care” featuring Melissa Gilliam, MD, MPH, who is The Ohio State University’s executive vice president and provost. Dr. Gilliam also participated in a moderated panel discussion and Q&A session along with Carol Bradford, MD, MS, FACS, dean of the College of Medicine, and Mary Howard, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, executive director of The Ohio State University East Hospital.  This was followed by video spotlights on recipients of “Woman of the Year Award” from each ERG within OSUWMC in celebration of Women’s History Month.  Criteria for the 2022 Woman of the Year award included demonstration of outstanding service to her employee resource group and the greater Wexner Medical Center community.
