Artificial Intelligence in Human Health Workshop

The Center for Clinical and Translational Science, the Department of Bioinformatics and the Translational Data Analytics Institute will be hosting an Artificial Intelligence in Human Health Workshop on Saturday, September 14, 2019 in 0160 Pomerene Hall, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm.  

The overarching goal of the workshop is to bring together clinical and basic scientists to promote the use of AI research in human health.

Workshop purposes:

  • Develop a research community in translational AI research in human health
  • Identify key AI research areas
  • Connect quantitative research scientists with health science investigators
  • Stimulate high impact outcomes and discuss how potential AI research projects can impact human health
  • Discuss an upcoming funding opportunity sponsored by the CCTS
