REDCap Training

Interested in learning how REDCap can help you? Join a training session!

The Center for Clinical and Translational Science, in coordination with the Department of Biomedical Informatics, conducts monthly training sessions in room 240 of the Prior Health Sciences Library and via WebEx.

There are four modules of training, based on the role(s) a user will have within REDCap. Registration for each session opens two weeks prior to the session. If the session you want isn’t open yet, please check back.

REDCap Design Part 1
This level of training is appropriate for individuals who are using REDCap for the first time, or individuals who have very limited prior experience.

REDCap Design Part 2
This level of training is appropriate for individuals who have used REDCap and are comfortable with building basic forms.
NEXT SESSION: Wed. Mar. 21 from 3:00-4:00

REDCap for Data Entry
This level of training is appropriate for individuals who won’t have primary responsibility for designing forms, rather their role will be to enter and edit data. This session is a little shorter than the others, about 30 minutes of presentation followed by time for Q&A.

REDCap for Program Managers/Coordinators
This level of training is designed for project coordinators or program managers who will be overseeing data collection. It covers the administrative aspects of REDCap, with less emphasis on form design or data entry.
