Pharmacy Research Day Award
2018 Center for Clinical and Translational Science Award announced
Each year, Research Day celebrates innovative research being conducted in the College of Pharmacy.
This year's celebration, held on March 29, 2018 in the Drake Union, featured keynote speaker Lang Li, PhD, Chair of the Biomedical Informatics at the College of Medicine.
In addition, the winner of the 2018 Center for Clinical and Translational Science Award was announced. Abbas Rizvi was presented the award for his work "Genetic Associations with Day +100 Transplant Related Mortality After HLA-Matched Unrelated Donor Blood and Marrow Transplant". Rizvi was presented the award by Cynthia Carnes, Senior Associate Dean of Pharmacology.
