Former CCTS KL2 Awardee Wins Scholar Award

Award consists of $792,000 over four years to support study

Terence Williams, MD, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Ohio State, and member of the Molecular Biology and Cancer Genetics Program at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James, has received an American Cancer Society (ACS) Scholar Award of $792,000 for four years to support his study of the underlying mechanisms of KRAS-mediated radioresistance.

Arnab Chakravarti, MD, professor and chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Ohio State, says Williams’ grant application received the best score in the country by the ACS.
