Tools of the Trade: Communicating Scientific Research

Your biomedical research can impact people’s lives, but can you explain your work to diverse audiences?  At this workshop, sponsored by the Center for Clinical and Translational Science, TEDx Columbus curator Meagan Burne will train you to distill your work into a sixty-second “elevator speech.”  Other speakers will address how and when to communicate with potential industry partners and present pointers on talking to journalists about your science. Lunch will be served at 11:30; program begins at Noon.
