The department of Biomedical Informatics and the OSUMC IT are hosting a workshop entitled “The Research Data Café – Accessing and collecting data for research” on October 22nd, 7:30-11:30 in 115 BRT. Staff will discuss how to access data stored in the EHR for research as well as how to capture data from external sources.
Topics include:
- The honest broker protocol and obtaining data from the EHR
- i2b2 and PCORI
- Scarlet – a scalable registry platform
- IHIS for research and collecting research data in the EHR
- REDCap – a web-based data capture tool
- Custom and mobile applications for data collection and analysis
