Clinical Research Center
The Clinical Research Center (CRC) is a 12,000 square foot, 13-bed research unit located on the 2nd floor of Dodd/ Davis Hall at the Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University.
Core areas of the Center include: Bionutrition, Core Laboratory, and Nursing.
The unit accommodates research participants for both inpatient and outpatient studies in the areas of: AIDS, autism, cardiology, diabetes, exercise physiology, lupus, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, nursing, nutrition, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, psychology, and stress and immunity.
Research areas located on the unit include a room for smoking studies, a pediatric room, a core laboratory for running assays, exercise physiology and metabolic measurement equipment, and a bionutrition kitchen. Approximately 100 research studies are active on the unit at any one time.
