Biomedical Imaging resource 3T MRI supports clinical research
Through an effort organized by the CCTS, The Ohio State University Health Science Colleges were funded to purchase state-of- the-art MRI upgrades for the research-dedicated 3.0 Tesla Siemens Trio magnet that will be a shared resource in the CCTS Biomedical Imaging Core.
Originally purchased by the National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases in 2003 for imaging acquisition required for the Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI), biomedical imaging investigators from across The Ohio State University Health Science Colleges will have increasing access to this instrument moving forward.
